Community Activities
Neighbors Along The Line offers
enrichment programs such as Senior Bingo, the Children's Summer Reading
Program and community events to promote unity. Additionally, several
special programs benefit selected individuals and groups.
Special programs
- Halloween Event - Friday, TBA - from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Christmas Pictures and Ornament Making with Santa - Date TBA - Space is limited, so please call for an
appointment.
- Thanksgiving Assistance
- Christmas Assistance
- Summer Reading Program - see literacy page for more details
- Parent In Charge - 6 week parenting class, approximately 2 hours
long, once per week on Monday beginning 24 March 08.
- 62+ Bingo - held every Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Triad Vision Screenings for adults 55+ - appointment necessary -

Ongoing Satellite programs (Contact us for
date, time and location)
- Women, Infants and Children (WIC), services provided beginning in
April on the second, third and fourth Tuesday of each month. No
appointments are necessary just walk-in from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on WIC
service days.
- Alcoholics Anonymous meets from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday
- Narcotics Anonymous meets from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
- Legal Aid services are available beginning at 6 p.m. on the first
and third Mondays
- Children's Immunizations with the Caring Van
Our partnerships with other
agencies include:
AARP, Alcoholics Anonymous, the Charles Page Community Action Group,
Consumer Credit Counseling, Hillcrest, Legal Aid, Narcotics
Anonymous, OU Bedlam Clinics, RSVP, the Salvation Army,
Tulsa Community College, the Tulsa County Division of Court Services, the
Tulsa City-County Health Department, Tulsa Speech and Hearing Association, the Visiting Nurse Association,
the Weather Coalition and a
variety of local churches and schools.
